6 th National Rollerfest 2017 Street Burgas

This year as usual, Bourgas will bring together roller skaters and skateboarders with the 6th edition of the National Rolefestival Bourgas 2017.
The opening of the Rollerfest is on August 5 from 11 am in the Sea Garden, at the Pantheon and will be accompanied by a tour of the Sea Garden with roller skates, skateboards, longboards and bikes. The rollerfest will last for two days.

The program includes three sections of the street culture - roller skates, skateboard, longboard, and street dancing. There will be children roller races, cross country competitions for adults, skateboard races, longboard demonstrations and street dancing, freestyle and speed demonstrations are scheduled as well.
In this edition of the rollerfest there will also be several city tours on the newly built bicycle lanes in Burgas.

Use of protectors is mandatory for all participants in Rollerfest.

The whole Rollerfest program is as follows:

5th August Saturday

11:00 - Official opening of the National Roller Festival 2017 and a tour of the Sea Garden with roller skates, skateboard, longboard, bicycles. (Pantheon)
12:00 - Registration for Competitions
13:00 - Roller Competitions for children (up to 16 years) - racing for the fastest passing of short distance - 3 laps
14:00 - Roller Competitions for children (up to 16 years) - racing for the fastest long distance trip.
15:00 - Cross country on roller skates, short distance (over 16 years) - competition for advanced skaters with various obstacles / skipping stairs, walking through cobbled pavement, ramp /
18:00 - City tour with roller skates and longboards


6th August Sunday

10:00 - Fun school for roller skating mothers and fathers - free roller skating and quad skating lessons for all who want
13:00 - Amateur Speed Derby - the quickest cone passing with only one leg, especially for the advanced skaters there will be reverse tour on one leg
14:00 - Demonstrations on FSK - Presentation of various Freestyle combinations. Different numbers of cones.
16:00 - City tour with roller skates and longboard
16:00 - Open Hip Hop Dance Lesson
16:45 - Open Brake Dance Lesson
17:00 - Registration for the STREET DANCE competition
17:30 -18: 30 - Qualification
18:30 - Top 16, Top 8, Top 4
20:30 - Presentation of the judges with a special showcase
21:00 - Finals and Closing of Rollerfest 2017

For those of you who want to try roller skates or quad skates, our team from Skateshop Extreme and Tempish Bulgaria, together with Extreme Skate Association and our friends from "Let`s skate together Rollers!" we have prepared a Workshop - roller skating and quad skating for beginners of all ages.

If you or your child want to learn the first steps in roller skating or quad skating, take your roller or quad skates and come on August 6, 2017 in the Sea Garden at the Pantheon from 10.00 to 13.00!

Roller skating and quad skating lessons provided by the Workshop "Let`s skate together roller and quad skates!" are suitable for all who want to have that experience without age restriction.

Participants are encouraged to bring their personal skates or quad skates, but if you do not own and you want to try, you can use a pair of ours provided for the workshop by Association  "Extreme Skate",  SkateshopExtreme and Tempish Bulgaria. Roller skates and quad skates are required to use personal socks from a hygienic reasons.

Use of protectors during the Workshop is a must!

In the Workshop "Let's skate Roller Skates and Quad Skates Together!" - lessons for roller skating and quad skating, participants will be able to learn:
- basic knowledge of the types of roller skates or quad skates and their protection;
- basic rules for roller skating or quad skating and how to put needed protection;
- basic movements such as stepping, turning, turning of the inner and outer edge of the rollers and others;
- Main stops with roller skates or quad skates.
