How to prepare our camp outdoor

How to prepare our camp when we are outdoor

Camping and hiking trips are a great way to live new experiences. Comfortable base camp is the perfect way to prepare for your trip, but it is also good to know how to camp as an experienced hiker.

Your shelter is your refuge in each camp. This is where you'll spend the night and where you will stay if the weather worsened. Also, the base camp is the starting point during your camping adventure, so comfort and convenience should be your top priorities. Sometimes, providing comfort and shelter requires much more than a large tent.

Select a location for camping

• Be aware of the dangers and try to prevent them. Dead and rotting trees can easily ruin any camp in the woods. Fallen branches around can be a very good indicator of what may happen to you.
• Many campsites have picnic tables and special places for campfires. Look for camps with healthy trees around that you can be very helpful in cases of light rain.
• It is important you can determine wind direction at any time. Nobody would want to pass the night stifled in the smoke from the fire in your neighbor's camp. Look for objects that are located in opposite to the wind direction, if possible.
• Determine where will the sun rises and sets. Location with dense vegetation can prevent first rays to shine and thus deprive you of a very pleasant view. A picturesque sunset can also become an unforgettable experience, so it's nice to know which side the sun goes down.

Choose the best tent, that meets your needs.

• Choose a tent with sizes that best meet your needs. Too small tent wouldn`t be comfortable at night at all, but on the other hand too big tent is heavy to carry and to open or close it is significantly more difficult.
• Smaller tents are placed easier than larger ones. It is also good to have different options for positioning the tent.
• Consider the wind direction. If you put your tent downwind, you can expect a very restless night.
• Tents with double doors can be a big plus. They provide additional storage sites, which means less baggage in the tent and more opportunity for movement.

Take care of your sleep

• Be traditionalists and choose a good sleeping bag and lining system that meet your body needs and camping conditions.  Also, there are proposals for sleeping bags with integrated sleeves that are very suitable for people who do not like to sleep on their backs. It is important to learn how to camp and pick equipment that will serve.
• Many families prefer to use inflatable mattresses instead of the standard pads. In warm weather, the inflatable mattress is the perfect addition to a double sleeping bag or for families with kids who feel more secure and confident when sleeping with Mom and Dad.
• For children is very important to buy children's sleeping bags as they are designed specifically for their size and physique. The design is quite simple, but your kids will feel far more comfortable in a sleeping bag that is designed for their needs than in your spare sleeping bag. If you arm yourself with adequate equipment for sleep, properly selected and well chosen tent,  good camping place, you are prepared to face all the challenges that Mother Nature will send.
