End of cold feet in winter! Shoes Hunter heat are the solution for this inconvenience! Equipped with batteries and heaters mounted in the toe and heel part, they warm up and maintain a constant temperature up to 6 hours. So your feet will be warm regardless of weather conditions.

INSTRUCTIONS:

ALPENHEAT heating elements have already been pre-installed in the front toe area of your ski boots. To use the heating, charge the battery packs and insert them into each ski boot.


BATTERY PACK: 
Charging and care First use:Charge the battery packs overnight prior to first use.
Plug the Y cables of the charger into the battery packs and plug the charger into a standard household socket.




Recharging:
The charging time is approx. 8 hours. 
Either take the battery packs out of each inner boot:
plug the Y cables of the charger into the battery packs and plug the charger into a standard household socket.
Or leave the battery packs in the inner boot:
plug the Y cables of the charger into the plug on the back of each inner boot and plug the charger into a standard household socket.

LED control light on the charger:
Red LED: both battery packs are being charged.
Red / Green flashing LED: one battery pack is charged and the other is still being charged 
Green LED: batteries are fully charged and ready for use.
It is normal for the charger to get warm whilst charging.

Charge both battery packs at the same time.
Charge the battery packs at an ambient temperature between 10° - 35° C / 50° - 95° F. The storage temperature should not exceed 50° C / 122° F otherwise the batteries could be damaged. Ideal storage condition is 18°C / 65° F. Dry and dark storage. Fully charge the battery packs every 3-6 months to prolong the battery life. Battery packs must be charged after 6 months.




Using the ski/hunting boot heating:
HE 30 Push Button
1.    Open the flap that is on the outside of the inner shoe at the back.
2.    Take the filling out of the pocket.
3.    Plug the battery pack into the plug in the pocket and put the battery pack into the pocket.
4.    Close the flap.
5.    To turn the heating on, press and hold the ALPENHEAT push button, which is situated on the outside of the inner shoe at the back, until the LED lights up. 
      RED = Boost High: for 10 minutes and then automatically switches to setting medium
      YELLOW = Medium: up to 6 hours of heat
6.    To turn the heating off, press and hold the ALPENHEAT push button until the LED goes off.
7.    When using the ski boots without the heating, take out the battery packs and put the filling back into the pocket.
8.    Disconnect and remove the batteries from the ski boots when the boots are not being used.
9.    Fully charge before storage.
10.    Unplug the charger from the power outlet and unplug the battery packs from the charger.




Safety Instructions
Keep the product out of the reach of small children, as it contains small parts which could be swallowed. This product should not be used by individuals unable to determine when the temperature is too hot or too cold. Small children are more sensitive to hot and cold. Certain illnesses, e.g. diabetes, can cause impaired temperature sensitivity. Persons with disabilities or infirm persons might not be able to communicate that they are too warm or too cold. Therefore the product is not suitable for children under the age of three, the infirm or individuals insensitive to heat. If in doubt or if you have cardiovascular problems consult your doctor before using the product.
Only use the original recharger supplied for charging the batteries. It has been designed for indoor use only and should not be exposed to moisture. Alpenheat products are not compatible with one another or with products from other manufacturers, so never use chargers, heaters or battery packs from other products.
Do not insert metal or other objects into the connection sockets or plug as this can damage the product.
If you notice that the connection cables or any other parts are damaged, do not use the product. Do not make any changes to the product and do not use it for any purpose other than intended.

CAUTION
•    If you know that you sometimes experience loss of sensation, consult your doctor before   using the product.
•    Stop using if your skin turns red. Excessive exposure to heat can lead to burns.

DISPOSAL OF PRODUCT
This product must be disposed of according to the prevailing guidelines for disposing of used electrical and electronic appliances
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product must not be treated as household waste, but must be disposed of at a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances.
The product contains lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. The batteries themselves must not be taken apart, thrown into a fire or short-circuited.
The batteries must be disposed of properly. Appropriate containers for battery disposal are available in shops that sell batteries, as well as at municipal waste collection places.
By your contribution to the correct disposal of this product you are helping to protect the environment and the health of your fellow mankind. Human health and the environment are endangered by inappropriate waste disposal. Recycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials. 

ALPENHEAT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT OR INJURY TO THE USER CAUSED BY MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT.




MANUFACTURER´S LIMITED GUARANTEE
ALPENHEAT guarantees that this product is free from defects in material or workmanship. This guarantee is valid for the period of 6 months. Batteries are excluded from the guarantee. The guarantee period starts on the date on which the product was first purchased by an end customer. In the case of repairs or exchange, the guarantee period is neither extended nor does it begin anew. Should a defect occur during the guarantee period, the product has to be immediately returned to an authorized ALPENHEAT dealer, together with the corresponding dated purchase invoice. Within the guarantee period ALPENHEAT will at their sole decision repair or exchange the product.

 

EXCLUSION AND LIMITATIONS
ALPENHEAT gives no guarantee for damages caused by accidents, negligence or improper use. Furthermore, textile wear, change of appearance, any product modification, damage to the product are also excluded from the guarantee.
The manufacturer’s limited guarantee does not affect statutory warranty rights. If the defect is detected after the 6 months manufacturer’s limited guarantee has expired or it is not covered by this guarantee or there is no purchase invoice provided, ALPENHEAT reserves the right to determine and suggest which steps be taken (repair or exchange at the expense of the customer) at ALPENHEAT’s sole discretion.
