Approximately 38 billion plastic water bottles end up in landfills each year. By using bobble, which is made from recycled materials, we can all do our part to eliminate unnecessary waste. Bobble helps fix the problem by using recycled material to make new bobbles. Bottled water is also a costly addiction. Americans currently spend over $15 billion a year on bottled water. One bobble filter equals at least 300 water bottles.

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN BOBBLE SAVE ME?
Bobble can be refilled at least 300 times before changing the filter. Each bobble filter can save you hundreds of dollars versus single serve bottled water. The more single-serve bottled water you drink, the more you will save with bobble.
WILL BOBBLE IMPROVE THE TASTE OF MY TAP WATER?
Yes, bobble uses a carbon-based filter that removes chlorine and organic contaminants from municipal tap/potable water.
USE AND CARE
Bobble's bottle should be hand-washed regularly in warm, soapy water & left to dry completely. Regular washing limits bacterial growth.
REUSE
Most convenience-size beverage bottles sold in the U.S. are made from PET, which the FDA has determined meets standards for food-contact. Bobble is safe for reuse and prolonged use when used as intended. Specifically, we do not recommend exposing bobble to high heat or freezing. Like all repeat-use food containers, it should be cleaned regularly. Bobble is intended to be used only with municipal tap water which delivers the additional benefit of aiding in the prevention of bacterial growth due to the presence of chlorine.
TAKE CARE
Hot water should not be run through filters during use (max. 85F/29C – min. 32F/0C). We do not recommend freezing bobble, but you can place your bobble in the refrigerator.
Bobble has not been tested for added mixes or flavorings. accordingly, we do not recommend using any liquid other than potable water with bobble.
REPLACING YOUR FILTER
A single bobble filter equates to at least 300 bottles of filtered water, or about 40 gallons or 150 liters. Therefore, with daily use, your bobble filter should last about 2 months.
ACTIVATING YOUR BOBBLE
Before drinking from Bobble, fill it with water and gently squeeze a full bobble of water through the filter one time. This will remove any loose carbon. The activated carbon filter requires no maintenance thereafter.
On first use of bobble filters, carbon particles may appear in water, this will reduce with continued use. Carbon is a natural substance that can be ingested.
FLUORIDE
Whether fluoride is naturally occurring in the water supply (well water often contains fluoride) or whether the fluoride is introduced in the public water supply intentionally (many cities do this), the fluoride will register the same amount before and after water passes through filter and only under special circumstances will a very slight reduction occur.
