The best insulating material for clothes is the natural feather. Unlike any other synthetic material, down and feathers are lighter, more compact and retain heat longer. What actually insulates the layer of feathers is the air, and the down from the feathers regulates its movement in a very effective way. The ratio of down and feathers used is 90/10, which guarantees the best thermal insulation, light weight and the possibility of easy folding. If you take good care of your garment filled with down and feathers, it will last three times longer than any other synthetic material.
