❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What's the difference between a cone stream and a diffuse fog?
A: The cone stream is more directed – precise in windy conditions and with minimal risk of blowback onto yourself. The diffuse fog covers a larger area but can blow back in windy conditions. For outdoor use in wind, the cone stream is the safer choice.
Q: Is it suitable against bears?
A: Perfecta Animal Stop is intended for protection against animals, including bears, but its range is up to 4 m. If you're in areas with an active bear population and want a longer range (up to 10 m), consider Counter Assault Bear Spray.
Q: Can I carry it on a plane?
A: No. Aerosol sprays are not allowed in carry-on or checked baggage. Check the airline's rules and local legislation.
Q: What's the shelf life of the product after opening?
A: Check the expiration date on the packaging. Do not use after it has expired – the pressure and effectiveness of the aerosol decrease over time.
