They are designed for alpinists and hikers who demand uncompromising eye protection in the harshest conditions.
In their darkest phase (Category 4), these lenses transmit only between 3% and 8% of visible light to block blinding glare from snow and ice. This makes them dangerous and illegal for driving a car, as they severely restrict visibility in tunnels or shaded areas!
