🤔 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the benefit of Canvas fabric over nylon (parachute) hammocks?
Canvas fabric is made of natural cotton fibers, making it significantly softer and much more comfortable against bare skin. Unlike nylon, it doesn't create a sweaty environment, absorbs ambient moisture, and offers natural breathability—making it essential for hot summer days.
2. Why are the wooden spreader bars important?
The spreader bars keep the hammock flat and open at all times. In standard hammocks without bars, the fabric wraps tightly around you like a cocoon, obstructing your view and movement. Bars also distribute body weight evenly, making entering and exiting the hammock much safer and easier.
3. Can this hammock be washed in a washing machine?
Due to the attached rigid wooden spreader bars, machine washing is not recommended. Cleaning is easily done by hand using a soft sponge, lukewarm water, and mild liquid soap, then letting it air dry completely outdoors.
