The long-awaited update of the Eiger 40 is already happening: The iconic model - climbing backpack Eiger 40 is with complete facelift, with updates and increased functionality of all the options as well as with added new features and applications. This is one of the most developed TASHEV model, offering optimum volume and a full set of positions for stable wearing of any equipment. All of them have been renovated with attention to the detail and precision so that the level of comfort and stability to be raised in one's with the new vision, while maintaining the strength and the very low weight.
Updated carrying system:
- Updated VENT system - with more space for air circulation during movement
- New concept for the chest strap - the adjustment is made with gliding - for easier handling with gloves, remaining stable.
- New hip belt - lightweight, with precise ergonomics and ventilation openings for the highest level of breathing during movement
Options updates:
- The raincover is in a built in pocket on the bottom of the backpack. When you add more extras such as H2O option for carrying a hydrator, hand straps for hand support and movement of the load during walking, signal whistle on the chest strap, lighreflectors, lid pockets with a keychain - there is nothing mare that can be added to call Eiger 40 not only a climbing backpack but multifunctional. Made entirely from Cordura - durable to intensive use, remaining very light.

Besides all that, Eiger 40 is the only backpack with an avalanche shovel plate in the front - the best place for a shovel, helmet, rope, snowshoes, board and whatever equipment you want. The five fixing points are mobile for absolute freedom during equipment positioning, which will be worn on the front, depending on the weight cneter, the volume and height. The pocket on the plate is with additional volume.
